Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-13
These terms explain the baseline rules for using NovelForge, an AI-assisted writing workspace for serialized fiction. Use of NovelForge means you agree to use the service responsibly and to review AI-assisted work before relying on it.
Using NovelForge
- - NovelForge provides tools for planning, drafting, revising, researching, exporting, and managing long-running fiction projects.
- - You are responsible for the projects, manuscripts, prompts, notes, images, and other content you create, upload, or export through the service.
- - Do not use NovelForge to store or process content you do not have the right to use, or to violate applicable law, platform rules, contracts, or another person's rights.
Accounts and security
- - You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity that occurs through your account.
- - Keep login credentials and OAuth accounts secure. Notify the operator if you believe your account or manuscript workspace has been accessed without permission.
- - NovelForge may restrict access, suspend accounts, or remove content when needed to protect the service, other users, or legal obligations.
Your content and intellectual property
- - You keep your rights in original manuscripts, notes, prompts, story bibles, canon data, and other content you create or upload.
- - You grant NovelForge the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transform, export, and transmit your content only to provide and operate the requested service features.
- - NovelForge does not claim ownership of your private manuscripts. You remain responsible for ensuring that your content and publication choices are lawful and platform-compliant.
- - AI-generated text or images may resemble existing material or other generated outputs. You should review, edit, and clear any output before publication or commercial use.
AI features and disclosure
- - AI features may send relevant project context, prompts, instructions, or image prompts to configured model providers or local AI tools to produce the requested output.
- - AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, stylistically inconsistent, or unsuitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use them.
- - Where a publisher, contest, platform, client, law, or contract requires AI-use disclosure, labeling, or metadata, you are responsible for making that disclosure.
- - Source-backed research notes are intended to help authors track cited sources, but you should verify facts and source terms before relying on them.
Plans, usage, and limits
- - Some features may be limited by quotas, model availability, storage capacity, or operational safeguards.
- - For paid plans, the applicable price, renewal, cancellation, and refund information should be shown before purchase or in the Stripe-hosted billing flow.
- - NovelForge may change, limit, or discontinue features when needed for reliability, safety, cost control, or product development.
Availability and responsibility
- - NovelForge is provided as an authoring tool and may experience downtime, data recovery events, provider outages, or model failures.
- - Keep your own important backups and exported copies of manuscripts. NovelForge export tools are provided to support that workflow.
- - The service is provided without a guarantee that outputs will meet publishing, legal, commercial, or platform-specific requirements.
Deletion and termination
- - Signed-in non-legacy accounts may export account data or delete the account from account settings. You may request correction or other data handling through the support channel listed for NovelForge.
- - Backups, logs, and operational records may remain for a limited period after deletion for security, recovery, and compliance purposes.
- - NovelForge may update these terms as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
